Biography
Marie Angel (1923 - 2010) was a British illustrator, miniaturist and calligrapher. Her work focused on animals, lettering, and the spiritual, and demonstrated the very highest level of attention to detail and exquisite skill. Her books include "A Bestiary "(1960), " An Animated Alphabet "(1970), " Twenty-Third Psalm" (1970), "Bird, Beast and Flower "(1980), and "Painting for Calligraphers" (1984).
