Sonal Bhatt, M.S.Sonal Bhatt obtained a Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision, with a 4.0 GPA, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, from Rutgers University. She was awarded the Governor's Recognition Award for Teacher of the Year in 2007. Ms. Bhatt has co-authored Math 8 curriculum guides and is a long time math teacher and teacher leader. Rebecca Dayton, B.S.Rebecca Dayton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Rutgers University. She holds the position of Middle Grades Mathematics Specialist in the Piscataway (N. J.) District Schools where she mentors new math teachers. Ms. Dayton co-wrote the math curriculum for grades 9 - 12 and also co-created a summer program in Algebra and Geometry for high school students in Piscataway High School. Mel Friedman, M.S.Mel Friedman is the Lead Mathematics Editor at REA. He taught high school mathematics for twelve years and also taught at many colleges and universities. Mr. Friedman has served as a math consultant as well as a test-item writer for Educational Testing Service and ACT, Inc. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mr. Friedman is the author of math books on many levels. Special thanks to Dr. Gregory Chamblee for reviewing this work. Dr. Gregory Chamblee has taught mathematics on both the high school and university levels. He is currently a full professor at Georgia Southern University in the Department of Teaching and Learning specializing in the areas of middle grades and secondary mathematics education. His research emphasis is on the impact of technology on the teaching and learning process. Dr. Chamblee completed his doctorate at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Chamblee is the author of REA's G"ACE Mathematics Assessment (022, 023)" test prep.
