Hawke's Bay

The cities and surroundings of Hastings, Havelock North and Napier are covered in this regional pictorial, from the latter's fabulous Art Deco buildings ? legacy of the rebuild following the 1931 quake ? to the wineries and bluffs of Te Mata. Bustling waterfronts, historic buildings, fruit orchards and museums are portrayed, as are the Tukituki River and Mahia Peninsula, Waimarama Beach, Lake Tutira and other scenic locations in this region known for its benign climate and agricultural productivity.
