The Enemy
After a devastating sickness hits the world, 90% of the adult population is killed… and they were the lucky ones. The rest were changed into mindless, disease-ridden horrors, whose only thought is to feed… on any living thing. Including the surviving children.
Groups of children across London struggle to survive, and when they hear of a place safe from adult attacks, they hurry to get there. But various leaders of the children’s groups have different agendas. And the last thing the survivors need is a civil war.
This book shows a truly frightening outcome for humankind. I could not put the book down for this reason, and I could not help putting myself in the position of these children. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes thrillers, and is over 12, as there are some graphic descriptions in this book.
