Asterix and the big fight

by René Goscinny; illustrated by Albert Uderzo.

Asterix and the Big Fight is a good read for comic fans of all ages. As the Romans grow increasingly worried about their Gaulish counterparts, the leaders of the fortified roman settlements have made a plan to get rid of them. It includes an ancient Gaulish tradition called the “Big Fight”. If one Gaulish chieftain wants to become the leader of another tribe, he would challenge the leader of that tribe to a “big fight” and whoever comes out victorious takes control of the loser’s tribe. But first, the leaders of the roman settlements will need to take out druid Getafix first. I would recommend this book/comic to anyone who enjoys a good comic book.
