Edie Amelia Sparks was a very tidy girl, but her parents were very messy. As Edie Amelia was sorting out her 9th birthday outfit, she realised that one of her special monkey shoes was missing!! Then she sees the red tassel off the monkey shoe in the seagull’s mouth…
This trail involves her father, a piece of purple paper, a shadowy tall man, exotic settings, lots of food and the mystery of the missing shoe.
This book is easy to read with a great storyline. It is an exciting mystery and I would recommend this book for people who like mysteries with a twist.
I would rate this book for reading age 7+
