Dog Head
Jack Bootle-Cadogan just wants to be normal. He doesn’t want everything in his life to be posh and expensive. But his dream to be normal is broken, when his great-grandmother dies, and Jack turns half dog. When Osiris and Isis turn up, he finds out he is Anubis, the God of Death. His new identity makes it impossible for Jack to be normal, or is it?
I found this book quite difficult to get through, as the story kept jumping all over the place, until about the 8th chapter, then it started making sense. I often found myself skim reading at some parts, but other bits were quite good. ‘Dog Head’ includes a small dose of sense of humour!
I recommend this book to people aged 11-15 yrs, people who like books about curses, or/and a little mystery would enjoy this book.
