Some things are too good to leave to just teenagers and young adults – one such thing is this book. Our Meadowbank Book Team rate The Hunger Games as one of the most exciting books they have read in years! In this dark vision of the near future, 12 boys and girls are forced to appear in a live TV show called The Hunger Games. There is only one rule: kill or be killed. The book races along at incredible speed, in true “cannot put down” fashion. We recommend it to adults as well as the original target market of young adults.
