<p><em>ANONYMOUS</em>Â is a one-act play in which two gay men who have both lost long-time lovers in different ways arrive at mutual attraction in the waiting room of an AIDS clinic. Both have returned for their respective HIV-antibody tests, neither one thinking that he would encounter "someone... read more special" in the midst of such overwhelming personal anxiety and stress.Â <br /> <br /> <em>ANONYMOUS</em>Â had its East-Coast premiere during the Playwrightâ€™s Showcase at Albany Civic Theater in New York and made its West-Coast debut as the inaugural production for The Alchemy Project at The Jon Sims Center for the Performing Arts in California. <em>ANONYMOUS</em>Â received an Emerging Playwrights Award from Artists Alliance Against AIDS in San Francisco and an early draft was published in <em>Art & Understanding Magazine</em>.</p>
