This is the first in a series for Young Adults. Set sometime in the not-too-distant future, everyone is fitted with an M-band which is an evolution of smart phone, and are designed to make your life easier. They even take pheromone ratings and can identify your "perfect match". However, more than 3 negative ratings mean you are likely to do something terrible in the future and are whisked out of society for questioning and rehabilitation. Enter Maggie, whose father inexplicably starts receiving negative readings and is taken away. Maggie is now old enough to find her father and the answers to all her questions which the makres of M-bands refuse to answer. Really good read and I can't wait for the next installment.
