Don'T Worry About the Robots

There's lots of chatter about the future roles and shape of work and a lot of it can be scary as jobs change in a highly technical world. However, this New Zealand publication is a practical guide to managing high speed changes ahead for workers. The authors are both former CEOs of companies and share from their extensive experiences but have included innovative leaders and business owners to share their thoughts about the future of work. It is also a guide to empowering yourself to move into different fi elds of work with courage and resilience. A new set of skills is required to make such changes in your life and this is a handbook that will be a reference tool not just visited once – but one to ponder and take hold of the ideas. “when you talk to employers they want people who can communicate... people with skills like curiosity, resilience or team work”. I have had a lot of years in the workforce - I've worked both alone and within a team, this book has inspired me in a fresh way and sown the seed for new approaches.
