Gool

This was a fantastic read full of adventure and courage. The sequel to Salt, it continues the story of Hari and Pearl . With their home city in Ruins and old enemies fighting for power Hari and Pearl move away to an inland sea to raise their children Xantee and Lo. 16 years on the children must now save their father from a tentacle of a strange creature called Gool sapping his life. With their brave friend Duro they must hunt down the mother of the Gool brood before she destroys their world. To succeed they must use their most powerful weapon, their minds, as they have the ability to control other beings thoughts. This book would appeal to all readers who love adventure fantasy, althought it can be read on it’s own I would recommend reading Salt before Gool.
