Hunting books new and old are very
popular in our region and this is the
hottest off the press.
Peter has used a combination of
photos and written text capturing the
stunning South Island. Vivid stories of
game animals, the people and places –
a blend that always makes for the best
hunting books.
Tales of great adventures of roaring
stags, tahr and chamois found high
in the Southern Alps and hunting
gamebirds in amazing locations.
Peter Ryan has extensive hunting
experience throughout New Zealand,
Australia, Africa and America and you
may recall his earlier book Wild South
which has a game bird focus.
His photographs are stunning and
have featured in many hunting
magazines worldwide.
