Little Library Cookbook

Just in time for NZ Book Shop Day today! Celebrating our wonderful local bookstores and the gathering places they are for mad bookish types – like myself! This is the perfect book for fans of food and fiction – a beautiful presentation of classic books and a recipe to match something featured in the tale. There are 100 recipes from favourite stories including; Green Eggs and Ham from Dr Seuss, Marmalade from Paddington Bear or Pizza from Elena Ferrante, Pumpkin Scones from Possum Magic, Blueberry Pie from Charlotte’s Web, Treacle Tart and Rosemary Ice Cream from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Lane Cake from To Kill A MockingBird. Kate Young has also written a piece about why that book means so much and is a lovely blend that the literary fan will appreciate. We are celebrating NZ Book Shop Day 28th October instore with staff dressed as book characters with arms full of spot prizes and giveaways. Be sure to come join in the fun.
