Roly the Anzac Donkey

A beautifully told story from the point of view of Roly the donkey that gives children an insight into the important role donkeys played in saving soldiers’ lives during the Gallipoli campaign. So wonderful to see a New Zealand perspective on this piece of history. While respectful to the hardships of war it is written with warmth and compassion. A must have.
