New Girl

A lot of people ask me what is your favourite
book or author and, like the saying goes, that
is like asking who is your favourite child! It is a
question I cannot answer but amongst the authors
I wait for each year is Daniel Silva and his newest
tale about Gabriel Allon.
Gabriel Allon is an Israeli spy agent and always on
the hot pursuit of a threat to the free world. He is
also an art restorer of master art works and it is these
added elements to these gripping tales that make
for page turning moments. If you haven’t discovered
the ctitious Gabriel Allon then it is best to start with
the original Death In Vienna as that original book
sets the scene and informs you as to the ‘why’ Gabriel
does what he does. In the meantime, for the fans, the
newest Gabriel Allon thriller has just hit the stores.
“Now you see her…now you don’t. At an exclusive
school in Switzerland, mystery surrounds the new girl
who arrives each morning in a motorcade fit for a
head of state. Her father is Khalid bin Mohammed,
the controversial crown prince of Saudi Arabia. When
his only child is kidnapped he turns to the one man
he can trust before it is too late…”
